Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Alebri is the Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Sour Gas, a leading subsidiary of ADNOC and one of the world’s largest producers of ultra-sour gas. With over 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, he has been instrumental in driving ADNOC’s strategic growth through innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability. Before his current role, Dr. Alebri served as CEO of ADNOC Gas, the UAE’s primary supplier of natural gas and gas-related products, and as Acting General Manager of ADNOC Industrial Gases, overseeing the supply of nitrogen and liquid oxygen to the oil and gas sector. Throughout his career, he has led the execution of multi-billion-dollar capital projects, spearheaded digital transformation initiatives, and accelerated the adoption of AI and advanced engineering solutions to optimize ADNOC’s hydrocarbon value chain. A visionary leader, Dr. Alebri is committed to fostering a culture of sustainability, innovation, and operational efficiency. His leadership emphasizes resilience, business transformation, and people engagement while maintaining a strong focus on execution and performance excellence. Dr. Alebri holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Wales, UK, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Abu Dhabi University, UAE, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri, USA
