Charlie Sanchez serves as president of the company’s Infrastructure Advisory (IA) business. As a leader of global teams and a seasoned transformation steward, Charlie brings a wealth of real-world experience being a technologist and consultant across his 25 years of experience. While tackling the growing complexity of today's challenges, his distinctive performance-driven leadership has been aided by his ability to take a systems-thinking and applied outcomes approach. Infrastructure Advisory consists of three key service areas focused on meeting clients’ needs in the areas of strategic advisory, resiliency and security, and asset lifecycle management. The Infrastructure Advisory team is focused on BV's goal of "Leading Clients into Tomorrow" by bringing unparalleled depth of Market, Solution and Project Execution knowledge from seasoned dedicated experts in each pillar. Most recently, Charlie served as an innovation and consulting leader at Deloitte in Houston, where he focused on digital, AI, value chain optimization, climate change and energy transition. Throughout his career, he has excelled in delivering meaningful results and growing new service offerings in complex business initiatives.
The Internet of Things (IoT) is transforming energy operations globally through the incorporation of advanced technologies such as real-time monitoring, predictive analytics and automation. By optimising energy consumption, minimising waste and facilitating the integration of renewable energy sources, these modernising innovations are enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability while reducing costs. Hyperconnected infrastructure, which includes smart grids and smart metering, will prove pivotal in the ongoing transition from traditional energy management towards more efficient, data-driven systems.
