Jens is the Acting CEO of Enowa, where he leads the development of the pioneering infrastructure underpinning NEOM’s vision for 100% renewable energy at scale and a sustainable water system. He previously served as Enowa’s Managing Director of Energy, leading its commercial, generation and storage activities, industrial and commercial customer business and the entire energy system development. Jens’ extensive industry experience in blue chips and innovative start-ups includes leadership positions as Chief Commercial Officer at Reactive Technologies, a UK-based renewable grid technology firm and Chief Financial Officer of RWE npower, a leading UK energy group. Jens holds a PhD and MBA from the University of Münster. He was appointed Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford for contributions to its Integrating Renewables Programme and Visiting Scholar in Renewable Energy Management and Technology at Stanford University.
