Esam Al Murawwi serves as the Chief Projects Officer for TAQA Transmission, bringing with him over 15 years of experience in the energy sector. In addition to his role at TAQA Transmission, Esam is a board member for the Abu Dhabi Offshore Power Transmission Company (ADOPT) and Mirfa Seawater Treatment and Supply (MSTS). Esam earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the American University of Sharjah and Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Khalifa University. His commitment to continuous learning is underscored by his completion of the Young Future Energy Leaders (YFEL) program from the Masdar Institute in 2014, and Future Energy Leader program by the World Energy Council in 2023. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and certified director from Hawkamah.
