After a professional career in the Royal Netherlands Navy, serving as Engineering officer on board submarines and at Ministry of Defense, Markus held various international executive management positions in the marine offshore industry. He joined ADNOC in 2020 to lead the transformation of the Offshore Logistics Business unit into a Solutions Provider. In addition, he was engaged with M&A and partnerships initiatives as well as the development and successful implementation of the Integrated Logistics Services Platform, the end-to-end offshore logistic solution in a pay-per-ton model. Late 2022 he has been appointed as Vice President Offshore Mobile Solutions, a new business unit within Offshore Logistics responsible for managing and operating all ADNOC Lift boat requirements, Competitive Offshore EPCI contracting and Subsea Services. The new business vertical was able to show significant growth in a short period of time by being awarded multiple EPC contracts.
