Auke Huistra is a seasoned expert in industrial and OT cybersecurity with over 25 years of experience protecting critical infrastructures across sectors such as energy, maritime, manufacturing, water and government. Currently serving as Service Area Director Industrial and OT Cyber Security at DNV Cyber, he leads a team of nearly 100 specialists across Europe, Middle East and Asia, delivering strategic cybersecurity solutions and services. These services include Advisory and Technical Assurance and Assessments, IoT and Product Security services as well as training. 

Auke has played a pivotal role in shaping national and international cybersecurity initiatives, including co-authoring the Dutch National Cyber Security Strategy, establishing and leading the Dutch ISACs that are now part of NCSC NL as well as co-founding the GICSP® certification. His career spans leadership roles in government, research institutions, and critical infrastructures, with a focus on risk management, compliance, and workforce development.
