She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology as well as a fellowship in Higher Education (FHEA). Dr. Smitha specializes in psychometric testing and counseling. She has competence and expertise in areas such as teaching, research, diagnosing and treating children with learning disabilities, developing intervention programs for children with learning disabilities, psychometric testing, and counseling. Dr. Smitha's research interests include educational psychology, learning disabilities, emotional intelligence, and various special education topics. She has given oral presentations at both national and international conferences. She is the author or co-author of numerous books.
