PTTEP is the E&P flagship of PTT Group, Thailand's national oil company. PTTEP invests globally, with more than 40 projects in 15 countries including Middle East, to provide reliable energy supply and sustainable value to all stakeholders. PTTEP's business is driven by the vision to become the "Energy Partner of Choice" through competitive performance and innovation for long-term value creation.
PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) was founded 35 years ago (1985) as a national petroleum exploration and production company dedicated to provide sustainable energy security for Thailand and the countries we operate.
From the beginnings of exploration to all the challenges, and successes, our journeys have led us to discover that the greatest energy source is the power of partnership with all our stakeholders.
We will grow together for a sustainable energy future because energy security is the beginning of every life, no matter the obstacles, we can strive to overcome together to make a better world.
This adsorption technology is designed to remove unwanted elements in natural gas liquids or condensate which is a major feedstock for petrochemical plants in Thailand. The equipment is designed to automatically replace the adsorbent without halting the production process, therefore saving time and manpower. Safe Self Loading/Unloading Adsorber Modular (2SLAM) can operate at both offshore platform and onshore locations.
Green Buoy for Blue Ocean
The Green Buoy for Blue Ocean project is developed to provide a “green powered” monitoring buoy, that generates electricity from solar and ocean wave. The buoy is a physical platform that provides endless energy supply for multiple oceanographic sensors, cameras and a communication system. The buoy design aims to achieve a minimum human intervention and provide the data that is easily accessible for all. This will enable a long-term monitoring in remote areas which are not previously possible.
The world’s first Subsea Flowline Control and Repair Robot (SFCR), called Nautilus, is said to represent a turning point in the industry. It’s a robot used for the remote inspection, repair, and maintenance of underwater petroleum pipelines. Nautilus can reduce time and cost associated from such operations by 50%.
Sampling PIG is a technology for collecting samples from pipeline's internal surface to ensure environmentally safe condition. The advantage includes ability to collect samples at many locations within the pipeline and without a support vessel, therefore saving more than three times the costs of the conventional approach.
Sand Facility Advance Separator
Sand deposition is a chronic issue in the oil and gas business that effects production performance, equipment reliability, operating costs and waste management. PTTEP is able to tackle this issue using its Patented Technology (U.S. Patent No. 9,968867 B2) that employs feed stream and an internal impeller.
