SVP, Project Delivery & Technology
Mazuin Ismail graduated in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom, and obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of Adelaide, Australia.
Mazuin has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. His career includes not only project execution and engineering, but also internal audit and governance and business development. These experiences allow him to add value across the breadth of PETRONAS’ business and operations. He has also taken on leadership roles in the areas of petroleum management, strategic planning and change management.
Mazuin is currently the Senior Vice President of Project Delivery and Technology, assuming the position since April 2016. He is responsible for leading the Project Delivery and Technology division, a Centre of Excellence for engineering, project delivery, procurement and technology in PETRONAS. As a newly integrated structure, Project Delivery and Technology aims to position PETRONAS competitively through top quartile project performance and technology advancements.
Leading up to his appointment to the current position, Mazuin was the Vice President of Technical Global, a division tasked to ensure the adoption of PETRONAS’ best practices in projects and engineering, drilling, petroleum engineering technology, technical data and operational excellence, throughout its operations worldwide.
