VP Middle East and Country Manager
Anders Hatteland (born 13 September 1967) took up the position of Vice president for the Middle East in November 2018. He comes from a position as Vice president of the non-operated portfolio in Norway. Previous positions include Senior vice president for the Middle East and North Africa, country manager in Venezuela, and prior to that as CFO for Equinor’s International Exploration & Production business area. Mr Hatteland holds a BSc in Economics from Aalborg University, Denmark, and an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from the Cass Business School, London, UK. He joined Statoil ASA in 1993 and has extensive financial and strategic experience from a range of positions in the international portfolio. In addition to Venezuela, these have included expat assignments in China and Vietnam.
