Mr. Lyu is currently holding concurring positions as the South Korea & Middle East Area Manager of CP Hydrogen Business Unit, as well as duties as Section Manager for the Global Service Sales Section at Ebara Elliott Energy. Having been a part of the Global Service Sales since starting his career at Ebara Corporation in 2013, Mr. Lyu has extensive knowledge and experience especially in the Middle East Region, including his expiatory duty in Dubai, UAE.
Hydrogen fuel cells generate electricity with only water vapour as a byproduct, making them a viable option for buses and trucks. The technology offers longer ranges and quicker refueling times than traditional batteries and is suitable for heavy-duty and long-haul applications. However, the widespread adoption of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles is up against high production costs, a lack of refueling infrastructure, and the intense competition from increasingly efficient electric battery technologies.
