Ammonia cracking is a high-potential solution for transporting hydrogen, offering a practical method to convert ammonia back into hydrogen at its destination. An advantage of ammonia cracking lies in its ability to leverage existing infrastructure for ammonia transportation, reducing the need for new hydrogen-specific transport systems. This makes ammonia an attractive hydrogen carrier, especially for large-scale industrial applications and long-distance shipping, opening a path to efficient and cost-effective hydrogen distribution.
Attendee insights:
Explore how ammonia cracking can efficiently and cost-effectively build the hydrogen supply chain by converting transported ammonia back into high-purity hydrogen using existing infrastructure.
