Innovation showcase: Cloud-based platform for modelling and simulation

Reservoir modeling and simulation is the most used techniques to understand subsurface reservoir dynamics and evaluate the optimal development plan to maximise EUR and economics. However, the process—from building static models to dynamic history matching and forecasting—can be time-consuming. This session introduces a high-fidelity simulator that significantly accelerates this workflow. In addition, a close-loop functionality of integrating static and dynamic information within one platform enables a fast iteration of appropriate models to address reservoir situations. With simulation times reduced from days to mere hours, even reservoirs with complex fluid, rock properties, and recovery mechanisms can be modeled swiftly and accurately, empowering more effective decision-making.
