Ayman Ismail

Ayman Ismail is Schneider Electric’s Vice President of Industry & Business Development at Schneider Electric Gulf Cluster as of October 2021. In his current role, Ayman leads the Industrial Automation strategy supporting the digital transformation and electrification of customers in multiple segments including Consumer Package Goods (CPG), Water and Wastewater (WWW), Mining, Minerals and Metals (MMM) and District Cooling Plant (DCP). He is also building a network of strategic global and local partnerships with Industrial Automation Distributors, System Integrators, and OEM specialized channels to ensure that customers have an ecosystem that supports their business growth and sustainability ambitions.  

Prior to that Ayman was the Vice President of Digital Transformation, Commercial Excellence & Quality for the Gulf Cluster where he has successfully led the digital transformation of the cluster and focused on commercial and quality projects putting customers first. Beginning his career with Schneider Electric in 2010, Ayman held various Sales and Marketing positions across the MEA region. 

Ayman currently leads the Schneider Electric Gulf steering committee setup to support the collaboration with the UAE’s Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) on the UAE Industry 4.0 Programme in the leadup to the UAE hosting COP28 in 2023. 

He co-authored the published book “Entrepreneurship in Egypt from Evolution to Revolution”. 

Ayman Ismail is an Electrical Engineer, holding master’s degree in business and has over 15 years of experience in energy management and industrial automation domains.
