Salama Al Awadhi

Salama Al Awadhi is currently holding the position of Director of National Value Added, at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT).  

Salama’s field of expertise is within Oil &Gas industries with focus on Supply Chain and ln Country Value (ICV), gained over 14 years of experience in 2 Geos: UAE & Oman. 

Prior to joining MOIAT, she held the position of Head of Supply Chain Exploration at Occidental Abu Dhabi (Oxy) where she was fully responsible of the design and implementation of contracts and procurement strategies for UAE Exploration campaign. 

Within Oxy organization, Salama led various roles and projects in Supply Chain Contracts & Procurement, ICV & Inventory optimization. In 2018, Salama was promoted to be Head of In Country Value where she was responsible for company's ICV Strategy and driving the delivery of ICV initiatives and opportunities. 

After 14 successful years in the private sector; Salama decided to enroll her expertise and knowledge into the public sector and joined MOIAT earlier this year.  

On top of this, Salama started off her career Wireline Engineer at CNLC. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree, on Earth Science (Geology) studies from SQU.
