His Excellency Saud Abu Alshawareb

Saud Abu Al-Shawareb is the Executive Vise President of Industrial Leasing at TECOM Group PJSC. In his current role he is responsible for nurturing relationships with customers and attracting new business, determining Dubai Industrial City’s strategic vision, and planning and implementing long-term business strategies to develop industrial sector on a grand level in Dubai. Saud has extensive experience in the food and beverage, machinery and equipment, transportation, minerals, base metals and chemicals sectors.

Saud previous served as the Managing Director of Dubai Industrial City, the region’s leading industrial and logistics hub and member of TECOM Group PJSC. In this capacity, he spearheads the delivery of Dubai Industrial City’s vision to elevate Dubai into a global platform for innovative manufacturing and logistics, in line with the leadership’s vision of economic diversification for a sustainable future.

During his long-standing tenure at the region’s leading industrial hub, Saud Abu Al-Shawareb has held various positions within Dubai Industrial City, notably serving as Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director of Partner Relations, and as Head of the Operations.

Saud commenced his career at Tatweer, a member of the Dubai Holding group in 2006 as a Civil Engineer and was promoted to a Project Manager in 2010, contributing to the project management of construction and design of the Dubai Industrial City projects.

Saud Abu Al-Shawareb has a master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Wollongong in Dubai and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Sharjah.
