Hasan Imran is a Science Specialist at, Carbon Management Division, Research & Development Center Saudi Aramco since 2008 with research focus on CO2 emissions reduction strategies. Currently he leading a collaborative project with KAIST related to the development of a refinery optimization based CO2 reduction tool. He is also Chair of R&DC Safety Audit & Inspection Committee.
Prior to joining Saudi Aramco he worked at Conoco Phillips (Canada) and TransCanada Pipelines and received 2006 CCME Pollution Prevention Honorable Mention Award and 2007 Global Pipeline Award at Rio International Pipeline Conference – Brazil. At Aramco he received Safety Excellence Award in 2017 in addition to patents and publications.
Hasan earned his Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from University of Calgary, Canada.
His today’s presentation is about development of a computer aided tool ArKaTAC³, for conducting optimization-based techno-economic analysis for CO2 capture and conversion technologies.
