Angelo Santicchia has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (University of L’Aquila, Italy) and he has almost 18 years of experience with Saipem where he started as Structural Engineer/ Offshore Pipeline Analyst in 2005, covered the positions of Offshore Material Specialist and Material Technologies Leader in several offshore projects located in North Sea, Mediterranean, Caspian Sea, Brasil and Guyana. He optimized the Material Technologies activities in relation to the installation needs interfacing and cooperating with Clients, Lay-barge Vessels, Yards and Vendors. From 2020 he is the Material Technologies Manager for Saipem Fano Offshore Engineering. The main responsibility is the coordination of all the department material technologies activities: Corrosion, Materials, Coating and Cathodic protection.
