Alireza Amyari

A project and programme expert, Alireza currently leads the OMV downstream project management office (PMO), focusing on the Best Practical project governance and driving improvements in capital project delivery. This has consisted of developing a strategic planning and corporate performance management process, which includes the identification of KPIs and their targets, root cause analysis, and defining improvement measures. Alireza gained experience on these topics by having advised clients across various industries such as refining, chemicals, pharmaceutical, and E&P, by carrying out evaluations of project readiness and highlighting risk in various stages of the project. Having worked with a large majority of super majors, national oil companies and independents, he developed deep expertise in project management across process improvement, risk and change management, project assurance and organisational efficiencies.
