Roberto Ardenghy

CEO of the Brazilian Petroleum Institute (IBP), main industry association in Brazil, Roberto Ardenghy is former Brazilian diplomat with 30+ years of experience in government relations, infrastructure, energy, sustainability and oil & gas, both in private and public sectors. Previously working at the Brazilian Consulate in Houston and New York as Consul for Economic Affairs, Mr Ardenghy is frequently invited to speak in important events related to energy, oil & gas and investment opportunities in Brazil, such as ADIPEC 2020, OTC 2021 and GASTECH 2022. 

On January 2019 he joined PETROBRAS as part of the new management team. Initially appointed as Chief of Staff of the CEO he became Chief Executive (Board Member) in charge of Institutional & Sustainability areas, with responsibilities to oversee climate change, communications, social performance and government affairs.
