Richard Mathers

Richard Mathers is Sr. Director for for Honeywell's Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) Business.  The STS business was set up by Honeywell in 2021 with the aim of developing and commercializing highly-differentiated technology that enables and accelerates a material reduction in global, energy carbon intensity.  Richard is responsible for developing STS’s business globally, including, but not limited to, renewable fuels, plastics circularity, CO2 Capture and low carbon intensity Hydrogen solutions. 

Richard has over 25 years of industry experience.  He joined Honeywell in 2010 and has held increasingly senior positions across Europe, Africa and Former Soviet Union.  Prior to joining Honeywell, Richard worked for Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Nalco Ltd in various Research, Technical Marketing, Sales and Business Leadership, roles. 

Richard holds a First Class Honours BSc. in Applied Chemistry from Strathclyde University.
