Elie Adamy

Elie Adaimy is the Group Director for Business Development, Technology, and Innovation at Gulf Cryo, the Middle East’s leading manufacturer for industrial, medical, specialty gases and related services, present across 10 countries in the region.

Elie is managing the business activities and leading the Group’s short and mid-term strategies securing sustainable and profitable growth through business innovation, commercial excellence, market and product management.

In addition, Elie is leading the development of Sustainability initiatives and gas-related business solutions including green projects as decarbonizing industries through carbon capture, CO2 re-use in industrial applications, H2 solutions and clean mobility.

A major pillar in his approach is creating the required ecosystems for the CO2 and H2 value chains, ranging from production to supply chain and utilization, by supporting the nexus with leading stakeholders as multinational industrial players, OEMs, authorities, and regulatory bodies.

Elie has started his career within Air Liquide Group and has developed over two decades of extensive multidisciplinary experience in the industrial gas business ranging from involvement in operations, engineering, project management, sales, marketing and R&D in Europe, Middle East, India, North & Sub-Saharan Africa.

He has developed a solid transversal expertise and know-how in a wide range of process industries as power, water, environment, metallurgy, mining, O&G, F&B and healthcare.

Elie holds a master’s degree in Industrial engineering.
