Presently a Partner of CTC Marine Solutions and Direct Consultancy at Vention Global, both companies based in the UAE.
Master Mariner with 22 years seagoing experience, 8 of these as Master, and 4 as Supercargo / Superintendent. Fortunate to work with a wide and varied range of vessels / trades / port operations including General Cargo / Multipurpose Vessels, Liner Services, Container Vessels, Car Carriers, Lumber Carriers, Bulk Carriers, Ro-Ro Ferries, Offshore & Hovercraft.
Operated my own Consultancy Company in the US Gulf specialising in supervising cargo operations on board / ashore, damage surveys & incident investigation.
Joined Class Society in 1994, between 2000 to 2010 managed their Marine Management Services for EMEA which included responsibility for growing the Consultancy in the Area. From 2008 Area Manager for Marine & Offshore in South-East Europe based in Piraeus and then from 2014 to 2020 for the MEA in Dubai.
Presently engaged in partnering companies globally throughout the wider Shipping Industry, Owners, Managers, Ports, Banking and Insurance Industry to identify the risks in their activities from smaller issues through to major challenges including expansion plans and re-structuring.
