Group CEO, Mr. Anders Østergaard, co-founded oil and shipping group, Monjasa, which today ranks among the world’s 10 largest marine fuel suppliers.

By emphasising strong personal relations and engaging with local shipping communities, Monjasa services shipowners, charterers and operators in more than 700 ports worldwide. With a fleet of some 20 tankers, Monjasa has reached prominent positions in hard-to-reach markets across West Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.

The Monjasa Group consists of more than 30 companies with total revenue of USD 3.2 billion in 2021 – equivalent to 5.7 million tonnes of fuels supplied.

 Mr. Østergaard also serves as Board Member and Secretary in the Emirates Shipping Association.
