Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer
Nicole M. Durham is the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer of Baker Hughes. In this role, she is responsible for the company's global diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) journey. She joined the company in March 2021.
Durham brings more than 20 years' experience building strong client relationships, collaborating cross-functionally, and leading change to achieve business results. She is a trusted partner to senior leadership team s, creating and driving strategies supporting talent management, leadership development, and employee relations.
Most recently, Durham was Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Exelon corporation. Throughout her time at Exelon, Durham served as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, diversity and inclusion councils, and employee resource groups. Before joining Exelon in 2004, Nicole practiced technology risk consulting at Protiviti, Inc. and Arthur Andersen, LLP in Chicago.
In the community, Durham sits on the board of directors for Step Up Women's Network Chicago and the Notre Dame Executive Business Council Advisory Board.
Durham holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame as well as a graduate certificate in Learning and organizational Change from Northwestern university. She has a professional in human resources (PHR) certification and a certified information systems auditor (CISA) designation.
