Neil Brown is Managing Director at KKR and member of the KKR Global Institute and Infrastructure teams. Neil works at the intersection of geopolitics and finance, specializing in energy transition and infrastructure, opening new markets for investment, and advising on global strategy and risk mitigation. He helped lead investments on five continents, including serving on the board of ADNOC Oil Pipelines. Neil is also a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council of the United States, specializing in energy and foreign policy. Previously, he served for over eight years on the senior Republican staff of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, leading global energy security, governance, and climate efforts. He previously worked with refugees in Africa, South Asia, and Europe. Neil is a volunteer board member of The Lugar Center, Merton College Charitable Corporation, Association of American Rhodes Scholars, and Columbia Energy Journalism Initiative, and he is a Counselor at the International Strategy Forum (a program of Schmidt Futures). Neil is a graduate of Harvard and Oxford.
