President - Energy Industries
Brandon Spencer is currently serving as the president of the energy industries division in ABB Group. This division within ABB is responsible for the delivery of solutions and services that digitalize, automate and electrify the energy industry, to ensure safer, smarter and more sustainable use of resources across oil & gas, power, water & chemicals sectors.
Brandon joined ABB in 2006. He served his first three years at ABB as the National Account Manager responsible for ExxonMobil, Dow Chemical, and ConocoPhillips. In this role he supported the power side of ABB’s businesses. In 2009, Brandon was promoted to Global Account Manager responsible for ConocoPhillips. In 2011, he was promoted to Global Account Manager responsible for ExxonMobil. In both roles, he worked with a global team of sales, operations, and service to support existing customer facilities as well as to pursue all major upcoming projects. Brandon and his team were responsible for representing all 5 of ABB’s divisions worldwide. In mid-2013 he transitioned into the role as the Vice President of Petrochemical, Oil & Gas for the USA and effective Jan 2016 moved into the role for North America. Prior to joining ABB, Brandon served in various roles within Siemens Power Generation. These roles included positions in operations, service, and sales & marketing. Following his receipt of a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Brandon went on to earn a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. Married with one son (8) and one daughter (6), Brandon lives in Katy, TX.
