The future energy landscape remains uncertain. On the one hand, population growth and rising living standards point to the need for further significant increases in energy demand. On the other hand, there is a growing recognition of the need to reduce carbon emissions. The world has started on its transition to a lower carbon intensive energy system. But what will that world look like? And how quickly will it emerge?

Attendee Insights

Exploring the reasons why long-term hydrocarbon energy forecasts will be wrong, highlighting the risks around the key drivers of change. Specifically, what could act as a catalyst to accelerate the world away from oil, and what could this mean for gas? Conversely, what – if anything – could lead to higher oil and gas demand than forecast? And what are the strategic implications and how majors are positioning themselves for this uncertain world

Today’s organisations constantly seek to attract, retain and develop the best talent, irrespective of ethnicities, origins or other forms of diversity. Companies and brands must adapt, change and connect the workplace with the marketplace. To build a strong Inclusion and Diversity brand there needs to be a partnership between internal departments and how a company manages its customers, enhancing all parties’ relationship and business experience.
To support the creation of a successful Inclusion and Diversity identity and communications strategy, ADIPEC Inclusion and Diversity in Energy Programme introduces coaching sessions.

Three mentors will be discussing and coaching, in a roundtable informal setting, key topics and challenges employees face at the workplace. Delegates can choose which roundtable they would like to attend:

  • Developing a company’s Inclusion and Diversity vision and strategy: Internal vs external brand awareness.
  • Building your personal brand: From networking to digital brand building.
  • Harnessing the power of effective communication to resolve conflict, share feedback, and engage with peers and business leaders.

This session is targeted for professionals who want to understand how to enhance and grow within their businesses and managers who are hiring, leading, mentoring and increasing the company’s Inclusion and Diversity awareness.
