Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP)
Reem is an HR leader at Saudi Aramco. After working with the Downstream Business Line on establishing the Downstream HR Strategy earlier this year, she is currently on assignment at Saudi Aramco Total Refining & Petrochemical Company (SATORP), as Human Resources Manager. In this role, Reem works with a talented team of HR professionals & leaders, handling the entire People & Culture agenda. This includes Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, Employee Relations, Payroll, Learning & Development, HR Policies & Planning and Digital HR.
For over 23 years, Reem has held a number of roles and positions in the company, in HR, and with Upstream and Downstream. These positions include head of HR & Support Services in the Chemicals Business, and head of Diversity & Inclusion, and Expat Employment in HR. She also initiated the Female Sponsorship Program (Female CDPNE) and led the Academic Programs in Dhahran and at Aramco Americas in Houston.
Reem chairs and is a founding member of a number of boards and councils that support women in the energy sector, including the Leadership Excellence for Women Awards and Symposium (LEWAS), held annually in Bahrain (and now virtually), and the Gulf Region Organization for Women (GROW) network, focused on industry partnerships towards gender diversity advancement in energy.
Reem has also participated and presented in a number of global conferences and workshops and has attended Executive Programs at INSEAD, Emory and Wharton University. Reem has a M.Ed. in HR Development from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in English-Education from the University of Bahrain.
