Robin Mooldijk

Robin is Shell plc’s Projects & Technology Director, effective July 1 2023, and is a member of the Executive Committee, which operates under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for Shell’s overall business and affairs.

As Director P&T Robin is leading an organisation with talented individuals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional performance, with unwavering discipline, and a continuous drive for simplification in everything Shell does. At P&T, we are at the forefront of developing advanced technologies and innovative solutions to help build a lower-carbon energy future, whilst providing a secure supply of the energy needed today.

Robin was previously Executive Vice President of Shell Chemicals and Products. He was appointed to the role in August 2021, following the integration of Shell’s chemicals and manufacturing businesses.

Robin began his career at Shell in 1991 at its Research Laboratory in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and since then he has held several critical roles across the world including General Manager of Shell Chemicals Europe and Managing Director South African Petroleum and Vice President of Manufacturing Americas. In 2018, he was appointed Shell’s Executive Vice President for Manufacturing.

Robin is Dutch and holds an MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology. He is married with two daughters.
