Justin Rounce is Senior Vice President, Marketing and Technology, Schlumberger Limited, based in Houston. He has 30 years’ experience, having joined Schlumberger in 1987 as a testing engineer in the North Sea. Over the years, he has held various operations and management positions in Europe, Africa, and North America. In 2003, he became Vice President of Software Products for Schlumberger Information Solutions, responsible for all commercial software, including Petrel and Eclipse. Four years later, he served as Vice President, Software Governance, responsible for all software in Schlumberger, both internal and commercial. In 2009, he became Vice President, Marketing and Technology for the Production Group, overseeing marketing and new technology development for Schlumberger’s Well services, Completions, Artificial lift and Subsea business segments. In 2011 he moved to Paris and assumed the role of Vice President and Director, Mergers and Acquisitions. During this time he supported strategic growth efforts through numerous acquisitions and technology investments. He also led the development of the OneSubsea joint venture with Cameron International, eventually moving to the position of Vice President, Marketing and Technology for joint venture, in June 2013. In 2015, he was seconded to Cameron International as Vice President, Marketing and Chief Technology Officer. Following the acquisition of Cameron in 2016, he returned to Schlumberger to help lead the Cameron integration and was also Vice President Marketing & Technology for the Cameron Group. He moved to the role of Senior Vice President, Marketing and Technology, for Schlumberger Limited, in August of 2016. In this role his is responsible for all strategic marketing and communications activities, in addition to being responsible for the current and future technology portfolio of the company.
