Mick Neal

Mick Neal earned his BSc in Mathematics-with-Engineering from the University of Nottingham. He joined ExxonMobil where he has worked 30+ years in IT around the world.

Mick is currently the EAME Conventional & LNG O&G IT Manager, based in Abu Dhabi. He is highly regarded for his business acumen and drive to get things done; his notable IT accomplishments include: deploying leading edge technology to new startups from Angola to Sakhalin; delivering SAP to a JV in Canada; deploying innovative collaborative technology for a 3,000 person campus in Canada; exploiting VR to demonstrate the value EM bring to ADNOC Offshore.

Mick's passion is to create value by developing people and improving outcomes, whether to the business he supports, or the soccer players he coaches in his spare time. Mick also enjoys golf and skiing. He has travelled extensively with his family, and looks forward to the day when that can resume.
