Makoto is a Deputy General Manager of Technical Planning & Coordination Unit, acting as Head of DX.
His current role is to develop and execute the DX roadmap for the Company. Before the current assignment, he was engaged in leading IM&T digital activities as well as Project support activities.
He has an Industrial Automation background with work experiences of Yokogawa for over 20 years, where he served as a Business Development Manager for Oil & Gas upstream and LNG related Projects prior to joining INPEX in 2015. Makoto's passion is have collaborative network with various digital technology companies to develop interesting DX solutions.
Makoto enjoys travelling to many countries, and also playing tennis, golf, ukulele, etc.in his spare time.
