ADIPEC Museum
The first oil and gas museum will be launched at ADIPEC 2012. The museum will be an interactive journey from the discovery and extraction to production of oil in UAE.
The museum will have a chronological display of machinery, instrumentation and photography that symbolizes the development of this nation. The displays pay tribute to the late H.H Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and thank him for his vision for Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
The proposed museum’s journey timelines is from 1930 – 1988 from the first agreement signed with Petroleum Development Ltd – an associate company of the Iraq Petroleum Company to exploring oil and the establishment of the Supreme Petroleum Council.
