Technical Conference Programme
Established as one of the largest conference programmes in the world, ADIPEC 2014 will attract 400+ leading regional and International speakers from more than 111 companies across 37 countries. In total, ADIPEC is looking forward to welcoming over 6,500 conference delegates.
This multi-disciplinary conference is intended for international and regional Oil and Gas professionals, who are involved in both the technical and non-technical functions within the industry and will cover the following categories:

ADIPEC's Conference stream is the fulcrum of the event; bringing together some of the world's thought leaders, analysts and decision makers in a frank and open environment to discuss some of the major issues.
The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is returning as conference organisers for ADIPEC 2014, organised by dmg events. This event is an opportunity for like-minded professionals to join and contribute to one of the largest industry shows in the Middle East. Providing a first-rate platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices, the conference brings together renowned international speakers, researchers, and experts with a carefully selected mix of technical presentations, executive plenary session, and panel discussions.
The technical stream saw 235 speakers presenting to more than 5,801 delegates from 34 countries across 53 technical sessions and six streams, as well as 80 poster sessions displayed within the exhibition halls, underlining ADNOC's commitment to knowledge sharing across the industry.

- ADIPEC Awards
The ADIPEC awards are a celebration of excellence in energy. This prestigious event in the oil and gas calendar is an opportunity to recognise companies, departments and individuals in our industry who excel. With the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, submissions to the ADIPEC Awards entries are at an all-time high. The close of the 2014 ADIPEC Awards has presented an overwhelming number of entries from countries as far spread as Algeria, India, Kuwait, through to the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, the UAE & much more. - HSE Zone
The HSE Zone was another first for 2013, driven by demand from visitors and exhibitors alike. Bringing together the health, safety and environment sector of the oil and gas industry, the zone hosted exhibitors, open conference sessions and was supported by an array of sponsors including Bulwark, Timberland and Scott Safety. - Women In Industry
A first for the 2013 conference, Women In Industry was a panel session focussed on the title A Journey to Leadership. Led by H.E. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Development and International Cooperation, UAE, fellow panellists were Mrs. Sumayya Hassan-Athmani, Chief Executive Officer of the National Oil Corporation of Kenya, and Marie Haga, Executive Director of the Global Crop Diversity Trust and former Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy. - Young ADIPEC
Young ADIPEC was established to address the lack of emergent skill required for the next generation of oil and gas industry employees. Generating interest and excitement about a career in oil and gas, Young ADIPEC saw school children take part in a series of field trips, projects and a visit to the museum and Young ADIPEC zone at ADIPEC 2013.
