ADIPEC's Conference stream is the fulcrum of the event; bringing together some of the world's thought leaders, analysts and decision makers in a frank and open environment to discuss some of the major issues.
The ADIPEC conference – now split into a business/plenary streams and multi technical streams to better meet market needs – also broke the records in 2013.
The technical stream saw 235 speakers presenting to more than 5,801 delegates from 34 countries across 53 technical sessions and six streams, as well as 80 poster sessions displayed within the exhibition halls, underlining ADNOC's commitment to knowledge sharing across the industry.
Both conference programmes are overseen by the Executive Committee and the Technical Sub Committees. Also, it gives ADIPEC great delight to announce that The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the largest individual-member organisation serving managers, engineers, scientists and other professionals worldwide in the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry, is returning as conference partner for ADIPEC 2014.
The event is an opportunity for like-minded professionals to join and contribute to one of the largest industry shows in the world. Providing a first-rate platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices, the conference brings together renowned international speakers, researchers, and experts with a carefully selected mix of technical presentations, an executive plenary session, panel discussions and poster sessions.
CALL FOR PAPERS - DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 3 MAY 2014
Established as the largest conference programme in the Middle East, ADIPEC 2013 attracted 300 leading regional and International speakers from 34 countries. In total, ADIPEC welcomed 51,453 attendees out of which 5,801 were conference delegates.

- 2014 ADIPEC Awards
The countdown to enter your project for 2014 ADIPEC Awards has begun. ADIPEC’s Award entries will be open from 1st May 2014 giving applicants until 1 August to submit their entries. The official categories will be announced shortly. Click here to see 2013 winners

- HSE Zone
The HSE Zone was another first for 2013, driven by demand from visitors and exhibitors alike. Bringing together the health, safety and environment sector of the oil and gas industry, the zone hosted exhibitors, open conference sessions and was supported by an array of sponsors including Bulwark, Timberland and Scott Safety. - Middle East Petroleum Club
Middle East Petroleum Club allows top level industry managers and business leaders to connect with peers, friends and colleagues in a discreet and private environment. - Women In Industry
A first for the 2013 conference, Women In Industry was a panel session focussed on the title A Journey to Leadership. Led by H.E. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Development and International Cooperation, UAE, fellow panellists were Mrs. Sumayya Hassan-Athmani, Chief Executive Officer of the National Oil Corporation of Kenya, and Marie Haga, Executive Director of the Global Crop Diversity Trust and former Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy. - Young ADIPEC
Young ADIPEC was established to address the lack of emergent skill required for the next generation of oil and gas industry employees. Generating interest and excitement about a career in oil and gas, Young ADIPEC saw school children take part in a series of field trips, projects and a visit to the museum and Young ADIPEC zone at ADIPEC 2013.
