BP has offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. In Abu Dhabi, our operations include joint venture partnerships with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and shareholdings in Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company, Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operators, Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company, the Natural Gas Shipping Companyand Bunduq Company Limited.

Abu Dhabi is BP’s head office for upstream activities in the region, which also includes exploration and appraisal of tight gas opportunities in Oman and Jordan as well as a representative offices in Kuwait. Dubai is BP’s regional hub for refining and marketing of downstream products.

In Abu Dhabi BP is committed to supporting education and youth development. All our businesses throughout the Gulf region support the BP Young Adventurers Programme. Developed by BP to challenge and educate teenagers in the Gulf, the programme has taken thousands of teenagers on weekends of learning and adventure to help build their self-awareness and develop their leadership skills. We are proud to support the Abu Dhabi Petroleum Institute, developing the next generation of local expertise for nation’s oil and gas sector. BP supports the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) on the Sustainable Schools Initiative (SSI), building environmental awareness and engaging children on sustainability across over a hundred schools. BP is also one of the founding supporters of the Emirates Foundation for Youth Development, supporting young Emiratis in developing their leadership skills and igniting their potential for future careers
